Hello and welcome to my website!
My name is Tiffany Yao and I am a graphic designer and illustrator currently based in St. Louis. I graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a major in Communication Design in Spring of 2019.
To me, image has always been more than just a visual representation, it's a vehicle for translating ideas. I have always been fascinated by the universal and simultaneous understanding of image and its ability to draw resonating and surprising connections between things. When I was four, I couldn't speak english yet, so I drew pictures to ease the language barrier. While I no longer need to substitute pictures for words, I am still continuously inspired by all the ways image can create and encourage connection.
